Agents of the National Police have arrested music producer Nacho Cano this Tuesday for allegedly hiring immigrants in an irregular situation for his musical 'Malinche' in Madrid, as police sources have informed Europa Press.

Specifically, he is accused of an alleged crime against the rights of the immigrant population and another against the rights of workers. After taking his statement this Tuesday, he has been released with charges pending a court summons.

The former member of 'Mecano' would have allegedly hired immigrants in an irregular situation for the musical that he has been representing in the capital since last 2022. Nacho Cano received the Grand Cross of May 2 of the Community in 2021 from the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
